I have been wanting to go to Dubai since like forever, and I am still pinching myself as a reminder that “I was in Dubai”. It was everything I had dreamed about and more.

I think it would be unfair to only write one Blog describing my experience, so I will start out by discussing the accommodations in this first blog post.

For me the HOTEL is the heart of a vacation. If the heart is not pumping or you are unsatisfied with the HOTEL then likely your experiences following will be undesirable or dead in the water as well. For those who know me I am a #HotelSnob so being unsatisfied with a hotel is likely not to happen with me, as I put all of my energy into researching and planning this area of my vacation.

Atlantis the Palm, Dubai: is a 5 Star Hotel in Dubai situated on the Palm, a man-made island. From the moment you walk in you are mesmerized by architecture, luxury, and ambience. With 20+ restaurants, bars, and lounges, world class spa & fitness center, water park, aquarium, shopping, private beaches, and pools you are surely not to get bored and are tempted to NEVER Leave!

I stayed in the Terrace Club Suite; which is a little over 1,000 square ft or 94 square meters. With full living room, dining room, 1/2 bathroom, King Bedroom (Note: even though when making reservations it asks if you want two queen beds none of the suites offer two beds only KING), full bathroom (huge soaking tub and walk in shower), walk in closet and wrap around deck.

The best part of staying in a Club Level room or suite are the benefits. Some of the highlights for me that made it well worth it is FREE breakfast in lounge, room, or two onsite restaurants, daily complimentary Happy Hour from 5-7pm in the lounges or one of five restaurants/bars including both appetizers and drinks, and free entry plus two free drinks in night clubs for the duration of your stay. These are just a few of the suite amenities, but hopefully these alone convince you to upgrade to the CLUB level, as trust me it is worth it!  The service received is impeccable… We were celebrating a 40th Birthday so the concierge team surprised us with a cake and card.

Last, but not least the views….

Hopefully, I have at least piqued your interest, and you are online going to www.getlostvip.com//travel to allow us to plan your next vacation to Dubai at the Atlantis The Palm, Dubai. My journey to Dubai was a bit frustrating with delayed flights and cancellations, but it was a blessing in disguise as I ended up on Emirates Flight and I was VERY PLEASED with their planes/services.

All that to say if you are booking your trip you may want to check Emirates out. I know I will be using them for my future travel to the UAE.
